About Us

Set on a 2.9 hectare farm next to the Magaliesberg with magnificent views to the mountains, Berit Country Home and Chapel is only 10 km from Rustenburg and its hub – the Waterfall Mall.

Only an hour from Johannesburg and Pretoria, Berit Country Home is the ideal luxurious over night facility for business and leisure travellers.

The word “Rustenburg” means “Town of Rest” or “Resting Place”.  Berit Country Home is a resting place that provides a beautiful and tranquil setting to relax and unwind in style.

Ostentatious and serene surroundings host our guests at Berit. Being far away from a hectic lifestyle, it serves as a place of peace and refuge. Guests can choose from eight spacious and luxurious rooms with lavish en-suite bathrooms. The rooms are decorated with oil paintings, Persian carpets and solid indigenous furniture that will be appreciated by astute guests. Flowing onto a veranda, the rooms give that homely feeling.

Luxurious en-suite rooms with queen-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms with showers, baths, basins and toilets. Features include flat screen televisions with selected DStv, air-conditioning, kettles, bar fridges, safes and black and yellowwood furniture. Goose down duvets and luxury percale linen, paintings and Persian rugs prove the endeavor for quality.

The chapel is a divine picture of grace, serenity and symbolism. The venue caters for 40 guests seated.

We also offer a large lapa with a barbecue area, store room and bathroom - ideal for smaller informal functions.

Host your colleagues, family or friends in our restaurant for an unforgettable gastronomic experience. In addition, we offer conference facilities for up to 15 delegates and pride ourselves in outstanding and prestigious service.

Our core business is the provision of eco-friendly luxury accommodation (including meals) and hosting of corporate functions, weddings, conferences, and teambuilding sessions.  We also cater for private functions and business meetings.
