Berit is home to a remarkable wedding chapel in which unforgettable wedding services can be held. Getting married in this chapel offers a truly unique wedding experience.The chapel is perfect for small and intimate weddings (±40 guests).
Built as a replica of the Tabgha church in Galilee, Berit Chapel is filled with deep symbolism and meaning.
The entrance to the chapel features a mosaic with two fish and a basket with five loaves of bread which is based on scripture found in Mark 6 verse 30 in the Bible. The mosaic at Berit chapel is a direct replica of the mosaic found at the entrance of the Tabgha church situated on the north western shore of the Sea of Galilee in Israel. The Tabgha church is the traditional site of the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fish found in scripture in Mark 6:30-46.
Our beautiful chapel overlooks the magnificent Magaliesberg mountain range. The chapel seats ± 40 guests and is furnished with wrought iron features and classic wooden pews.
Besides weddings, Berit Chapel may be engaged for baptisms, christening ceremonies, funerals and memorials.
